Supported by Research
Much of the work that we do is not new, it is well supported by research in a wide range of areas.
A useful introduction to our understanding of human development and how it impacts on learning skills can be found in the short paper we wrote for the APPG on a Fit and Healthy Childhood. This will give you a wide range of useful references if you want to read further.
Over three years we screened the students who came into a South London comprehensive school at 11 years old who had not achieved a Level 4 result at the end of Key Stage 2. We found that all of them had problems with motor skills, sound processing and vision.
